Exiqon Announces 2011 miRNA Research Grant Program

Premium

Exiqon this week announced its 2011 grant program for microRNA research.

The program was launched in 2009 to provide funding to investigators from North American academic and non-profit institutions performing microRNA-focused research projects. The company said this year's program will be open to academics and non-profit researchers worldwide.

The program, which is being funded with $40,000 from Exiqon, will provide awards that can be used to purchase of any of the company's microRNA products or services.

Researchers must submit an abstract outlining their research area, project goals, and proposed workflow no later than Feb. 28, Exiqon said. Applications may be submitted electronically here.
