Asuragen to Supply RNA Control Kits to Affymetrix for Molecular Dx

Asuragen said this week that it has signed an agreement to develop and manufacture RNA control kits for Affymetrix.

According to Asuragen, the kits are "intended for use with in vitro transcription reagent kits for clinical molecular diagnostic applications that Asuragen has licensed and supplied to Affymetrix."

The kits are configured for use with Affy's GeneChip System 3000Dx v.2.

Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
