Enzo Biochem Expands Japan Distribution Deal

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Enzo Biochem today said that its Enzo Life Sciences subsidiary has expanded a distribution agreement with Tokyo-based Cosmo Bio.

Cosmo, which has served as a distributor of Enzo Life Sciences products in japan for more than 20 years, will now also promote, sell, and provide high-level technical and customer support for the Enzo Life Sciences products. Enzo also will distribute worldwide Cosmo Bio's catalog of Japanese-manufactured research biotools.

Barry Weiner, president of New York-based Enzo Biochem, said, "[E]xpansion of our relationship with Cosmo Bio will provide Japan's researchers with improved access to a broader range of Enzo products backed by extensive and efficient technical and sales support."

Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
