NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Thermo Fisher Scientific will manufacture and distribute a multiplex pathogen-detection test for Innovative Biosensors under an agreement announced Tuesday.

In addition, Thermo Fisher has a worldwide sales, marketing, and distribution license under the Thermo Scientific brand in certain markets for BioFlash and associated consumables.

Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.

"Thermo Fisher's world class manufacturing capabilities will enable us to satisfy the growing market demand for the BioFlash, which offers the unique capability of sampling, collecting, and identifying airborne pathogens in three minutes," Joe Hernandez, IB President and CEO, said in a statement.
