Stephen Picataggio, Barry Polisky

Coda Genomics has tapped Stephen Picataggio to serve as chief scientific officer. Picataggio was previously VP of metabolic engineering at Synthetic Genomics, and he worked in various posts at Dupont Central Research and Development, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and Cognis.

MDRNA has hired Barry Polisky to be chief scientific officer. He will replace Steven Quay, who will continue on the company’s board of directors and its scientific advisory board. Polisky formerly was VP of R&D at Merck, and CSO at Sirna Therapeutics.
