Q Chip this week announced the launch of its ReaX MDx PCR beads for molecular diagnostics.
 
According to the company, ReaX MDx beads, produced from organic and hydrogel polymers in Q Chip’s proprietary MicroPlant microfluidic device, eliminate the need for temperature-control logistics.
 
This features makes the beads “particularly suitable for oncology and infectious disease assays and point-of-care formats,” the company said in a statement this week.
