Kreatech Diagnostics last week named Rolf Hansen as director of marketing and sales.
Hansen holds a PhD in natural science from the Max Planck Institute and has worked for Qiagen, Beckman Coulter, Miltenyi Biotech, and Transgenomic.
The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center appointed Lawrence Corey as president and director, succeeding Lee Hartwell effective Jan. 1, 2011.
Corey is currently senior vice president and co-director of the center's Vaccine and Infectious Disease Institute as well as head of the virology division in the department of laboratory medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
