Agilent Technologies has appointed Robert Schueren to be VP and GM of Genomics, and John Fjeldsted to be GM of Liquid Chromatrography/Mass Spectrometry. George Stafford, who recently was responsible for LC/MS at Thermo Fisher Scientific, has joined the company as LC/MS hardware R&D manager.
Schueren formerly was global head of companion diagnostics, clinical biomarkers, and sample operations at Genentech/Roche. Fjeldsted has been at Agilent for more than 25 years, and he recently was R&D manager for LC/MS.
Cathy Lineberry, co-founder of Sunrise Therapeutics, and Keith Stoneback, CEO of Sicel Technologies, have joined Gentris Corporation's advisory board, the company said this week. Additionally, Sam Tetlow, managing director of Calvert, has been named chairman of Gentris' board.
