Former Myriad Genetic Laboratories President Gregory Critchfield has joined the board of directors at Saladax Biomedical. Before working at Myriad, which he left in 2010, Critchfield was CMO and CSO at Corning Clinical Laboratories, and he was a medical school faculty member at the University of Minnesota, Wayne State University, and Duke University. Critchfield also has served as a director at Metamark Genetics, Biocius Life Sciences, and BioTrove.


23andMe has appointed Ashley Dombkowski to be its chief business officer, where she will be responsible for the firm's translational collaboration initiatives. Dombkowski, who has previously been a member of the company's board of directors, spent 10 years at MPM Capital as managing director and also formerly was a healthcare analyst at Tiger Management and Dresdner RCM Global Investors.
