HTG Molecular Diagnostics has appointed John Lubniewski to be its chief business officer. He will be responsible for sales, marketing, and product development teams in the areas of molecular testing, translational medicine, and pharmaceutical clinical development and pathology laboratory diagnostics, according to the Tucson, Ariz.-based firm.

Lubniewski was formerly involved in senior management at Ventana Medical Systems, and he was a business development manager at Corning.
