NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Life Technologies today announced that it has received marketing clearance in Japan for its 7500 Fast Dx Real-Time PCR instrument and 3500 Dx Series Genetic Analyzer.

The firm said that it filed the platforms were filed as diagnostic application instruments with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in March. It plans to sell the systems in Japan for in vitro diagnostic use.
