Illumina s DASL Assay and National Center for Biotechnology Information s dbSNP Build 124

On Thursday of this week, Illumina is “making the DASL assay broadly available” to researchers wanting to use the assay for retrieving expression data from formalin-fixed embedded samples, the company said this week.

This week, the National Center for Biotechnology Information released dbSNP Build 124. The International HapMap Project genotype data is available with dbSNP build 124’s “sync” to the December release of HapMap genotypes, the NCBI said. All genotype data for the HapMap project are free for public distribution.
