Gene Express Signs up Indian Distributor

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) — Biogenuix Medsystems will distribute Gene Express's reagents and molecular diagnostics tools in India, Gene Express said on Thursday.

Under the non-exclusive agreement, Biogenuix will become the first distributor in India for Gene Express's products, including the Standardized RT-PCR reagents and research molecular diagnostic tools.

"This is the right time to enter the Indian molecular diagnostic and research market as there is a rapid growth in the installation base of RT-PCR platforms in the country," Biogenuix Director Sundeep Amar said in a statement.

The StaRT-PCR line includes kits for chronic myelogenous leukemia, lung cancer risk prediction, and inflammation/rheumatoid arthritis.
