Geert Walther Nygaard, Pamela Harris

Epigenomics has announced that its supervisory board has unanimously chosen Geert Walther Nygaard as its new CEO. Nygaard will begin his new post Feb. 1.
 
Nygaard joins Epigenomics from Wiesbaden, Germany-based Abbott GmbH & Co. KG where he was managing director. He also held various positions with several diagnostics firms, including Beckman Instruments and Dako.
 

 
Panacea Pharmaceuticals announced that Pamela Harris will be its new VP of medical and clinical affairs. In this position, Harris will lead the design and conduct of clinical trials for Panacea’s therapeutic and diagnostic products for cancer and central nervous system diseases.
 
Previously, Harris was the chief medical officer at Callisto Pharmaceuticals. She also served as a team leader and senior medical director at Pfizer, as well as the director of clinical research at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and US Bioscience.
