Genaissance Pharmaceuticals has appointed Ben Kaplan senior vice president and chief financial officer. He succeeds Joseph Keyes, who is resigning as CFO to “pursue other interests.” Kaplan, 46, comes to Genaissance from a six-month stint as senior vice president for finance and administration and CFO at Ikonisys, a small diagnostic company. He was also a consultant to PerkinElmer, and was vice president and CFO at Packard Bioscience.
