Applied Biosystems 7500 Fast and 7500 Real-Time PCR Systems

This week, Applied Biosystems launched its 7500 Fast real-time PCR system alongside an optional upgrade for the original 7500 real-time PCR system to the Fast “configuration,” the company said in a statement. The Fast real-time PCR system reduces run times to “fewer than 40 minutes” for runs usually taking about two hours, the company said. The configuration uses 96-well reaction plates, ABI added.
