Response Genetics Signs on FPN, Expanding its Payor Network

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Response Genetics today announced it has signed a contract that provides the 4.1 million members in Fortified Provider Network access to Response Genetics' molecular predictive tests.

Based in Scottsdale, Ariz., FPN is a direct-contracted network of preferred providers. As a result of today's deal, FPN members associated with more than 200 health insurers, self-funded employers, and other payors of healthcare services will be able to access Response Genetics' tests at discounted rates.

The deal is the seventh such agreement reached by Los Angeles-based Response Genetics this year and brings the total number of patients with access to the company's tests to 97 million. Last week, it announced a contract with preferred provider organization Three Rivers Provider Network.
