GeneNews Inks Specimen Collection Service Deal for ColonSentry

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) — GeneNews said today that it has signed up a lab services provider to expand its colon cancer risk test in Southwestern Ontario.

Gamma-Dynacare Medical Laboratories will provide blood specimen collection services for the ColonSentry test from three of its patient service centers in London, Ontario. The company estimated that the agreement has potentially made its test available to the nearly 500,000 people in this region of Ontario who are between 50 and 79 years old.

Gamma-Dynacare also offers the specimen collection services for the ColonSentry at ten locations in the Greater Toronto Area.

Financial terms of the agreement were not released.
