Enzo Clincal Labs Joins Empire BlueCross BlueShield Network

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Health insurer Empire BlueCross BlueShield has included Enzo Clinical Labs in its provider network covering the metropolitan New York City area.

Coverage became effective Aug. 1, Enzo's parent firm, Enzo Biochem, and Empire BCBS jointly said today.

Coverage for Enzo's services is included in Empire PPO Plans, Empire EPO Plans, and Empire Indemnity Plans. The clinical lab, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Enzo Biochem, provides clinical, cytology, and anatomic pathology services, as well as molecular, genetic, and ancillary testing, and customized test panels and profiles.

Empire BCBS is New York State's largest health insurer.
