NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Decode Genetics has received notification from the Nasdaq Stock Market that the firm's common stock will be suspended from trading as of the open of business tomorrow.
The Iceland-based firm also said that documents will be filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, which will remove the firm's common stock from listing on Nasdaq.
Decode said that it is possible its stock will be traded thereafter on the Pink Sheets, but that depends if there is a market maker for the shares.
The firm received a delisting notice from Nasdaq in November, following its filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
