Dan Zabrowski has been named head of Roche Applied Science, a unit of the company's diagnostics division. Zabrowski replaces Paul Brown, who had held the position since last September.

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Saladax Biomedical today announced exclusive distribution deals for its My5-FU diagnostic test in Poland and Italy.

Saladax will use the money to further commercialize its My5-FU assay, which measures levels of 5-flourouracil, a chemotherapy used for colorectal cancer and other solid tumors.
