The new extraction service will complement existing capacity in Berlin and London, LGC said.

LGC Genomics, a division of the UK-based LGC Group that provides DNA and genetic analysis services, recently expanded its genotyping facilities to keep up with its sequencing-based SNP discovery services.

KBioscience develops genotyping assays using a fluorescence-based competitive allele-specific PCR technique that it calls KASP.
