LGC Genomics said last week that it has expanded its nucleic acid extraction services to North America through the group's genomics laboratory in Beverly, Mass.
The new extraction service will complement existing capacity in Berlin and London, LGC said.

LGC Genomics, a division of the UK-based LGC Group that provides DNA and genetic analysis services, recently expanded its genotyping facilities to keep up with its sequencing-based SNP discovery services.

KBioscience develops genotyping assays using a fluorescence-based competitive allele-specific PCR technique that it calls KASP.

LGC's Genomics division and KBioscience will be combined to offer genomic services and solutions.
