NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – BioFocus will offer its customers Activiomics' proteomics services for identifying novel biomarkers for diagnostics and targets for new drugs, the companies said today.

BioFocus has launched an FLT screening and profiling service using Almac's Flexyte assay platform and is offering services against targets such as proteases, phosphatases, and kinases.
BioFocus will provide Genentech with integrated medicinal chemistry, in vitro biology, and ADME services.
The two-year extension could bring in $8.6 million for Galapagos.
The Galapagos subsidiary will conduct high-content screening and a range of other services for CHDI's Huntington's disease drug development programs.
Galapagos expects its drug discovery services operations to bring in around €70 million in 2010 revenues.
BioFocus will offer DiscoveRx's GPCR and cAMP assays as part of its screening services.
The companies will offer target discovery screening and biomarker services.
