Lynda Merrill
Fluoresentric has appointed Lynda Merrill as CEO, replacing previous CEO William Olson. Merrill is currently a board member of Fluoresentric subsidiary XCR Diagnostics, a position she will continue to hold. She has also held senior management positions at Qiagen, Boehringer Mannheim, Gen-Probe, and Immunodiagnostic Systems.
Bob Barrett
HealthTell, a company developing diagnostic, prognostic, and monitoring tests for complex immune-mediated diseases, has named Bob Barrett as vice president of marketing and commercial operations. Barrett has held executive commercial positions at companies including Chiron, Roche, Qiagen, and Applied Biosystems/Life Technologies.
Heikki Lanckriet
Sygnis has appointed Heikki Lanckriet as co-CEO and CSO, the latter being a newly created position at the company. Lanckriet is currently CEO of Expedeon Holdings, which he co-founded in 2003, and where he has served as CSO and Chief Operating Officer. Lanckriet will also become a member of Sygnis' management board along with Pilar de la Huerta, who will serve as co-CEO and CFO of the company.
