NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) — Former National Institutes of Health Director Elias Zerhouni has been named a US Science Envoy by State Department Secretary Hillary Clinton. Zerhouni is a senior fellow at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Global Health Program and he is chief scientific adviser for the journal Science Translational Medicine.
