Stratec Molecular InviMag Free Circulating DNA Kit
Stratec Molecular has launched its InviMag Free Circulating DNA Kit/IG, which enables efficient, fully automated purification of cfDNA fragments. The kit is designed for the company's InviGenius PLUS instrument that uses an automated system for magnetic bead-based isolation of nucleic acids in up to 12 samples in parallel. The automated workflow allows researchers to concentrate isolated cfDNA to a low elution volume of 100 μl for further detection and analysis of different biomarkers, the company said.
Enzo's CYTAG Total CGH Labeling Kit for CGH+SNP Arrays
Enzo Life Sciences has launched its CYTAG TotalCGH labeling kit for CGH+SNP arrays. The kit contains a complete set of reagents to prepare and label DNA for hybridization. The kit is compatible with both CGH arrays and CGH-SNP arrays that use array-based comparative genomic hybridization to detect chromosomal abnormalities and can examine single nucleotide polymorphisms.
Horizon HDx FFPE RNA Fusion Reference
Standards Horizon Discovery Group has launched its HDx FFPE RNA Fusion reference standards. These standards are highly-characterized, biologically relevant, and quality independent analytical controls for the optimization and validation of targeted RNA-seq, endpoint RT-PCR, or RT-qPCR assays, the company said. Each section contains a formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded cell line multiplex verified to contain EML4-ALK (Variant 1), CCDC6-RET, and SLC34A2-ROS1 fusions — all important clinical markers for non-small cell lung cancer.
