Protein Discovery this week introduced its UPX Universal Protein Extraction Kit for the detergent extraction of proteins from cells and tissues.

The kit works with frozen or freshly harvested material and works with both soluble and insoluble proteins, enabling the extraction of membrane proteins and other hydrophilic proteins, the company said.
