EdgeBio has hired Sherri Bale to serve as laboratory director for CLIA operations. The company recently received CLIA certification for its next-generation sequencing lab (see story, this issue).

Bale is managing director at GeneDx, a board certified medical geneticist, and a founding member of the American College of Medical Genetics. She holds a PhD in genetics from the University of Pittsburgh and a BA in biology from Clark University.
