Trovagene has appointed Paul Billings to its board of directors. Billings is currently chief medical officer at Life Technologies and is a member of Trovagene's scientific advisory board. He also serves on the scientific advisory board of the US Food and Drug Administration, the genomic medicine advisory committee of the US Department of Veterans Affairs, and the National Academy of Sciences Institute of Medicine's roundtable on genomics. Previously, he held senior management positions at Cord Blood Registry, GeneSage, Laboratory Corporation of America, and Cellective Dx.
