Paul Billings has been appointed to Trovagene's scientific advisory board. Billings is currently chief medical officer at Life Technologies and serves on the scientific advisory board of the US Food and Drug Administration, the Genomic Medicine Advisory Committee at the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the National Academy of Sciences Institute of Medicine's roundtable on genomics. Previously, he served as director and chief scientific officer of El Camino Hospital and senior vice president for corporate development at Laboratory Corporation of America. He holds an MD from Harvard Medical School and a PhD in immunology, also from Harvard.
