NuVasive has appointed Greg Lucier to its board of directors. Lucier is chairman and CEO of Life Technologies, which was recently acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific. Prior to Life Tech, Lucier held several senior management positions at General Electric, most recently as CEO and president of medical systems information technologies for GE Healthcare. He holds a BS in industrial engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Tute Genomics, which provides a cloud-based clinical genome interpretation pipeline, has appointed Mingfu Zhu as director of bioinformatics.
Zhu was previously an assistant professor at the Center for Human Genome Variation at Duke University Medical Center.
