Sirshendu Roopom Banerjee has been appointed as president and CEO of RainDance Technologies. He replaces Chris McNary, who will stay with the company as chief commercial officer.

Most recently, Banerjee was a director of healthcare investment banking at Leerink Swann, where he covered the life science tools and diagnostics sector. Prior to that, he held advisory positions at McKinsey and Goldman Sachs. Banerjee holds an MPP degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and dual BS degrees in biology and economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
