NanoString Technologies has named Chris Grimley as vice president of marketing and Katherine Webster as vice president of worldwide sales.
Grimley joins NanoString from Agilent Technologies where he was the senior director of genomics marketing. He also served 14 years at Applied Biosystems, where he held a number of management positions including directing the real-time PCR and microarray system product lines. He holds a BS in biochemistry from San Francisco State University.
Webster previously served as the senior sales director for life sciences at Qiagen. Prior management positions include vice president of sales for the 454 Sequencing Center at Roche, president of Biotage Biosystems, and positions at Molecular Staging, Celera Genomics, Chemdex, and Applied Biosystems. She holds a BS in chemistry from the State University of New York, Syracuse.
