Joyce Peng has been named marketing director of BGI Americas. Previously, Peng was the strategic alliance growth manager at Illumina. Prior to that she served as senior sales representative and technology sales specialist at Life Technologies, product manager of proteomics at Rosetta Biosoftware, and also as senior product manager in life sciences at Oracle. She holds a PhD in biology from the California Institute of Technology.
