NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) –German genomics tools and services firm Eurofins MWG Operon said today that it has reached a cooperation agreement with Integrated Genomics to combine their sequencing and analysis services aimed at microbial, fungal, and algal organisms research.
Mount Prospect, Ill.-based Integrated Genomics provides microbial bioinformatics tools and services based on its ERGO sequence analysis platform.
The companies struck the agreement to provide their customers with one-stop shopping for complete genome projects providing analysis results from raw extracted DNA.
Integrated Genomics CEO John Elling said that the integration will enable the firms to "provide complete genome sequencing and analysis projects for our customers."
