NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Complete Genomics announced on Tuesday distributor deals in Asia-Pacific to "better serve customers in those regions."
The Mountain View, Calif.-based firm has inked agreements with GeneWorks in Australia; Cyagen Biosciences in China; AR Brown in Japan; and BML in Korea. The firms will complement Complete Genomics' sequencing by "enhancing service accessibility, convenience, and the efficient delivery of data to its regional customers," the company said in a statement.
The agreements provide its customers with assistant in sample preparation as well as data analysis, the company added.
"With the support of our distributors, our goal is to deliver the best possible service to the customers in this region by providing easy access to our whole genome sequencing data and helping to shorten their discovery times," Dan Floerke, director of market development, Asia-Pacific at Complete Genomics, said.
Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
