Molecular diagnostics firm Biocartis has hired Inge Basteleurs as its general counsel. Basteleurs will be a member of Biocartis' executive committee and a director of Biocartis NV.She joins Biocartis from UCB NV, where she was VP of legal and secretary general to the board.


Seegene has appointed John Hurrell as its new senior executive VP. In this role, Hurrell will be in charge of Seegene's B2B business unit, which inks global licensing and companion diagnostics deals. Previously, Hurrell was the president and general manager of Focus Diagnostics, a subsidiary of Quest Diagnostics.
