MolecularHealth announced that Fadi Braiteh has joined its advisory board. Braiteh is an oncologist with Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada, specializing in gastro-intestinal, digestive system, and breast cancers.

He has received a number of awards for his work in cancer, including the 2009 Susan G. Komen Scholar-In-Training Award, the 2007 Jesse Jones Fellowship in Cancer Education Award, and the 2005 and 2006 ASCO Foundation Merit Awards.


Signal Genetics announced it has appointed Michael C. Cerio its Senior Vice President of commercial strategy and business development.

Cerio has worked in business development in the diagnostics and biotech industry for 15 years, most recently as an independent consultant with the life science venture capital firm MPM Capital. Prior to that, he served as Consulting CEO for Modulation Therapies and President and CEO of Oncolome Diagnostics. Cerio also worked at Genzyme Corporation, BG Medicine and Genaissance Pharmaceuticals.
