NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) — Rand Capital and SCP Buffalo Incubator Innovate NY Fund said yesterday that they have invested $1 million in privately held molecular diagnostics firm Empire Genomics.

Based in Buffalo, NY, Empire Genomics offers testing products and services for cancer disease management that enable physicians to improve their diagnostic capabilities and tailor specific therapeutic treatments using patient DNA.
