Scienion this week announced the appointment of Timm-H. Jessen to the company’s supervisory board. Jessen was previously chief scientific officer of Evotec and held various positions at Hoechst, later Sanofi-Aventis.
 
Prior to joining Evotec, Jessen was a member of the international biotech integration team throughout the Hoechst merger with Roussel and Marion Merrell Dow, and was head of biotechnology for HMR Germany.
 

 
Cellexus Biosystems this week announced the appointment of Ian Taylor as commercial director.
 
Taylor previously held senior management positions at Genetix, PerkinElmer Life & Analytical Sciences, Genomic Solutions, PerSeptive Biosystems, and EG&G Wallac.
