TCS Cellworks, MDS Analytical Technologies

TCS Cellworks this week launched AngioKit 96, the latest addition to its AngioKit product line.
The AngioKit 96-well format is specifically designed for high-throughput screening and complements the 24-well format AngioKit that is already available for high content assays.
According to the company, AngioKit 96 is the first microplate-based totally human cell co-culture model of angiogenesis.

MDS Analytical Technologies this week launched its MetaMorph Integrated Confocal System in partnership with VisiTech International, a manufacturer of confocal hardware.
The microscope combines Molecular Devices' MetaMorph software with the VT-Infinity(3) 2D-array laser confocal scanner from VisiTech.
The microscope has a matched micro-lens and pinhole and a single, double-sided galvanometer mirror to scan the sample, de-scan the fluorescent light returned from the sample, and re-scan that fluorescent light into the camera to create multi-dimensional, confocal images in real time.
