Scimagix s Scientific Image Management System Version 2.1 and Select Biosciences The Directory of Molecular Diversity Suppliers

Scimagix announced on May 19 the availability of its Scientific Image Management System Version 2.1. The company said that the new version provides significantly enhanced capabilities to the current SIMS, including fully controlled check-in/check-out capabilities, a complete reporting package, a new data browser, support for .mpg and .avi file formats, and enhanced application programmers’ interface capabilities.

Select Biosciences has introduced a report entitled “The Directory of Molecular Diversity Suppliers.” The 130-page directory comprises profiles of more than 90 companies supplying various screening products, synthetic libraries, natural products, and services. The report, compiled by chemistry consultant Wendy Warr, includes an analysis of trends in high-throughput chemistry, screening, and lead optimization, Select said.
