Definiens has named Joel Campbell as vice president and general manager for its US operations and David Fullerton as vice president of worldwide professional services.
 
Campbell joins the firm from the Environmental Systems Research Institute, where he was director of US sales. Fullerton was in charge of professional services at Documentum and also held several marketing and services roles with Hewlett-Packard.
 

 
Stem Cell Innovations has named Ian Lyons as chief scientific officer. Lyons was previously research area manager and principal scientist for Invitrogen, where his responsibilities included developing the company's portfolio of products for human stem cell research. Prior to joining Invitrogen, Lyons held a variety of senior positions at BresaGen.
