James Posada, Gabriele Neumann

Znomics has retained James Posada effective immediately as a business advisor, the company announced this week.
Posada was previously senior vice president for business and market development at Dartmouth University spin-out Glycofi, which was subsequently acquired by Merck.
Prior to Glycofi, Posada served as senior director for business development at Protein Design Labs, manager of a therapeutic protein division at Eli Lilly, and assistant professor of biophysics and molecular biology at the University of Vermont Medical School.

BioTek Instruments this week announced that it has hired Gabriele Neumann as its European contract sales manager based in Germany.
Neumann previously held a variety of positions at Berthold Detection Systems, including technical product manager and sales product management. Most recently, she was responsible for OEM customers, worldwide distributors, and customer support.
