Hugh Rienhoff, Ray Woodward

Odyssey Thera this week said that Hugh Rienhoff has joined the company’s board of directors.
Rienhoff is the founder and former CEO of DNA Sciences, formerly known as Kiva Genetics. Prior to this, he was a director of Abingworth Management, and was also a founding director of Healtheon and Aurora Biosciences. He currently serves on the boards of Peptimmune, Hydra Biosciences, GeneEd, and DataHooks. Rienhoff has been a faculty member of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he also obtained his MD.

Open Biosystems this week said that it has appointed Ray Woodward as vice president of sales and marketing.
Woodward previously served as the North American general manager for Miltenyi Biotec. Prior to that, he was senior marketing manager at Coherent Laser, and the director of new business development and strategic planning for Coherent’s medical group. Woodward has a degree in biochemistry from the University of Nevada at Reno.
