Guava Technologies this week announced the introduction of RapidQuant IgG kits for quantifying mouse or human IgG antibody during hybridoma screening.

The bead-based kits allow antibody quantitation to be performed on a plate-based benchtop flow cytometer instead of a traditional plate reader, Guava said. The kits are optimized for the Guava EasyCyte system.

Cold Spring Harbor Press said this week that the current issue of Cold Spring Harbor Protocols features new, freely available methods for using RNA interference in mice and Drosophila.

The protocols can be found at http://www.cshprotocols.org/.
