Carestream Molecular Imaging this week announced that the Kodak X-SIGHT nanosphere conjugates labeled with streptavidin will be available in July.

This new product provides a method for investigators to detect biotinylated probes in fluorescent molecular biology research applications, the company said. These streptavidin conjugates are fully biocompatible and appropriate for both in vivo and in vitro applications.

The new nanosphere conjugates will be offered in four distinct wavelengths ranging from ultraviolet to near infrared.

The Kodak X-SIGHT imaging agent family includes Kodak X-SIGHT nanospheres and Kodak X-SIGHT large Stokes shift dyes, which are also offered in different conjugated forms.
