NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Guardant Health announced a coverage agreement for its Guardant360 liquid biopsy with Priority Health, the first health plan to cover the test.
Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Priority Health is one of the largest health plans in the state of Michigan. The blood-based Guardant360 test provides analysis of circulating tumor DNA for 70 cancer-associated genes.
Priority Health also covers MDxHealth's ConfirmMDx prostate cancer test and was the first to cover Foundation Medicine's cancer profiling services.
