VWR Expands Distribution Agreement with NEB

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Laboratory products and services firm VWR today announced it has expanded its distribution agreement with New England Biolabs, which will provide the firm's customers with broader access to NEB's product portfolio in the US and Puerto Rico.

Under the terms of the agreement, customers will have access to NEB's products through VWR's e-business platform, sales organization, and services organization, known as VWRCatalyst.

NEB also will continue to offer its products directly to customers, VWR said in a statement.

"The combined commitment of VWR and NEB to customer solutions and quality products will be of great value to organizations in the life science industry," Stephan Labonte, senior VP of marketing for VWR, said in a statement.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
