Todos Medical, Majl Diagnostics Ink Automation, Reagent Supply Agreement

NEW YORK ─ Todos Medical said on Tuesday that it has entered into an agreement to become the provider of all COVID-19 PCR testing reagents and supplies for Majl Diagnostics.

Rehovot, Israel-based Todos said that it will install its automation equipment, including Tecan liquid handlers, automated RNA extraction machines, and 384-well PCR platforms, which are used for COVID-19, cancer genetics, and pharmacogenomics testing.

Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Majl will be able to run approximately 1,500 PCR-based COVID-19 tests per day after the implementation of its automation equipment, Todos said.

Gerald Commissiong, president and CEO of Todos, said in a statement that the agreement would enable Majl to pursue business opportunities with school districts in Atlanta. According to Majl's website, it operates a CLIA-certified laboratory in Norcross, Georgia.
